Client Workshop: CRM (Sales or Service) Training Session

Meeting Agenda & Explanation 

Purpose

Interactive training to train up to 3 internal trainers on key functions and features of HubSpot as well as any custom processes identified during your CRM Design sessions.

A typical CRM Training Agenda will look like the following, however, we may make changes to better support your specific organisation's requirements.

Outcomes & Outputs:

  • Your internal Trainer can setup and on-train other members of your Team
  • Any final changes and tweaks to the configuration are captured

Length & Facilities

The length of the session depends on the level of Sales or Service Enablement that you have purchased, as a guide these are the typical session lengths - however, please check with your Project Manager as sometimes we will customise these sessions to your specific needs. 

Sales CRM Training

  • Enterprise: Up to 3 days, this can be done in 3x full days or 6x half days and built out for train the trainer as well as end-users
  • Accelerator: 1 full day train the trainer
  • Essentials & EssentialsPlus: 1/2 day train the trainer

Service CRM Training

  • Enterprise & Accelerator: 1 full day train the trainer
  • Essentials & EssentialsPlus: 1/2 day train the trainer

If we are doing this session at your location, we will need:

  • Access to the presentation room 15m prior to the session to setup
  • A projector or screen to present on with HDMI or Universal Connector (if your screen does not support these formats please let us know prior to the session)
  • Access to WiFi (please send us details prior to the session)

Your team will need to bring:

  • A laptop connected to WiFi
  • Login details for Email and Calendar (i.e. Google Account/Gmail or Outlook)
  • Ability to install extensions if using Outlook desktop
  • HTML version of your Signature
If we are doing this session online each attendee will need:
  • Two screens connected to the presentation (one of these should be muted):
    • A screen to watch the presentation (could be a mobile or tablet if you do not have a secondary screen connected to your PC)
    • A screen to complete the training tasks, it is recommended that this is a laptop screen or larger
  • Access to the Internet from both screens
  • Login details for Email and Calendar (i.e. Google Account/Gmail or Outlook)
  • Ability to install extensions if using Outlook desktop
  • HTML version of your Signature
  • For online training, please test the link to the video call and let us know if you have any challenges prior to the session
  • Please ensure that your microphone and speakers are working prior to the session and that you have a strong enough internet connection to stream video

Who typically attends these sessions: Train the Trainer

Internal stakeholders/champions who will be responsible for setting up and on-training of your CRM users. 

Above Average Level of Technical Competency

It is essential that attendees have an above-average level of technical competency and confidence when using their computer and new tools.

Online Training

It is essential that all attendees complete the following courses prior to attending this session if these online courses are not completed there is a very high risk that your trainers will not achieve the competency required to on-train other individuals in your business and may require additional training.  

Maximum of 3 Attendees

Train the Trainer has a 1-3 attendee Maximum - we may not continue the session if more than 3 people turn up as it is highly disruptive and we will not be able to deliver to the purpose and outcomes of the session. If more than 3 individuals attend the session there is a very high risk that your trainers will not achieve the competency required to on-train other individuals in your business and may require additional training.  

Non-compliance may result in additional cost and extensions of timelines!

If any of the following occur:
  • The technical capabilities of the attendees are lower than required
  • Online training and certification are incomplete
  • More than 3 individuals turn up to the session
Your facilitator may choose to either cancel and reschedule the session or to raise a change request for additional training.
Either of these actions is likely to increase the cost of your project and push out project timelines. 

Who typically attends these sessions: End-User Training

Any end CRM user, these are generally split by Sales and Service, however, generic CRM functions can be trained across the team.
The size of the team should be based on the technical competency of attendees. 
Please confirm with your Project Manager on numbers and the length and structure of the session and types of attendees

Online Training

It is highly recommended that the following online training is completed prior to end-users training:

Typically these sessions are facilitated by the Sales Configurator on Your Project.

Timing

Train the Trainer

This session will usually be scheduled 1-3 weeks prior to your CRM cut-over - dependent on your overall team training schedule. Please review with your Project Manager.
i.e. It should be as close as possible to your CRM cut-over while allowing for any additional internal training.

End-User Training

As close as possible to your CRM cut-over, not more than 1 week prior to cut-over.
